At Hosanna's Haven, our mission has always been anchored in the belief that everyone deserves a life defined by dignity, stability, and restoration. We see housing not just as a roof over one’s head, but as a critical bridge between a state of crisis and a future of sustainable homeownership and community reintegration. Today, I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey: the inaugural Hosanna's Grace Gala.
This event isn’t just a celebration; it is a call to action. Hosted by our non-profit branch, Hosanna's Grace, this fundraiser is specifically designed to support survivors of domestic violence. While Hosanna's Haven provides the high-end, supportive housing infrastructure, Hosanna's Grace provides the charitable resources and empowerment tools that allow survivors to truly thrive. We invite you to join us for an evening of purpose, where "Grace in Action" becomes more than a theme, it becomes a reality for those seeking a fresh start.
The Synergy of Grace and Haven
To understand the impact of this Gala, it is important to understand the relationship between our two entities. Hosanna's Haven operates as a professional, for-profit supportive housing service. We provide premium, unlicensed supportive housing for individuals who require a stable environment to rebuild their lives. This includes veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those transitioning out of difficult circumstances.
However, we recognize that housing alone is sometimes only half the battle, especially for survivors of domestic violence who may arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs. This is where Hosanna's Grace steps in. Hosanna’s Grace is the heart of our charitable outreach. It focuses on providing the "wraparound" essentials, the resources, advocacy, and direct support, that empower survivors to move beyond their past.
By attending or sponsoring the Gala, you are directly funding the programs administered by Hosanna's Grace. These funds ensure that when a survivor enters a room provided by Hosanna’s Haven, they aren’t just getting a bed; they are getting a pathway to restoration.

Redefining Supportive Housing
In the current housing climate, the term "supportive housing" is often misunderstood. Many equate it with short-term transitional homes or low-income projects. At Hosanna’s Haven, we are challenging that narrative. We do not offer "transitional" stays; we offer stable, long-term supportive housing designed for those who value dignity and premium service.
Our pricing reflects the high value of the services we provide. We believe that by offering a superior living environment, we foster a sense of self-worth in our residents. Our homes are fully furnished, utilities are included, and the atmosphere is one of professional care rather than institutional oversight. We are an unlicensed facility, which allows us the flexibility to focus on the logistics of stable living while welcoming external medical providers, such as home health nurses or specialized therapists, into the home to care for our residents on an individual basis.
The Hosanna’s Haven Difference: Concrete Supports
We pride ourselves on offering services that go far beyond the industry standard. When you support the Hosanna's Grace Gala, you are supporting a model that prioritizes the following:
- Companionship Accountability Circle: Every week, we host talk sessions known as our Accountability Circles. These are not clinical therapy sessions, but rather structured opportunities for residents to engage with one another, share goals, and maintain the social connections necessary for mental well-being.
- On-Site Community Pantry: We understand the reality of benefit cycles. Often, SNAP or SSDI benefits can run out before the end of the month. To ensure no resident ever goes hungry, we maintain an on-site community pantry available to all residents. This is a cornerstone of our commitment to basic human dignity.
- Transportation Services: Physical mobility is a key component of independence. We provide transportation services to ensure residents can reach their appointments, interviews, and community engagements without the stress of navigating inadequate public transit.
- Case Manager Collaboration: We maintain strict professional boundaries and operational procedures. Our team works closely with external case managers and social workers to ensure that every resident's specific plan for restoration is being followed and supported.

Advocacy for Survivors: A Community Responsibility
Domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness for women and children. The trauma of abuse is often compounded by the trauma of housing instability. When survivors are forced to choose between an unsafe home and the uncertainty of the streets, the community has failed them.
Hosanna’s Haven and Hosanna’s Grace stand firmly against this cycle. We believe in opposing the "fixture on the street" mentality that often dehumanizes those experiencing housing crises. Instead, we advocate for solutions that address the root causes of instability, including rent gouging and the lack of specialized supportive environments.
The Gala is our primary vehicle for driving this advocacy forward. We are seeking sponsors who understand that domestic violence advocacy is not just a social service, it is an investment in the health of our entire community. When a survivor is given a safe, premium space to live and the resources to heal, they can reintegrate into the workforce, contribute to the local economy, and eventually move toward homeownership.
What to Expect at the Inaugural Gala
The Hosanna’s Grace Gala will be a professional, high-impact evening. As the Executive Director, I want to personally ensure that our partners and sponsors feel the weight of their contribution. The event will feature:
- Keynote Speakers: Hear from advocates and professionals in the social services field who are on the front lines of the housing crisis.
- Success Stories: We will share the journeys of those who have moved through our programs, highlighting the bridge from crisis to restoration.
- Sponsorship Recognition: We value the businesses and individuals who make this work possible. Our sponsors will be recognized for their commitment to social responsibility and community leadership.
- Networking with a Purpose: Connect with other professionals, referral partners, and community leaders who share a vision for a more stable and dignified housing landscape.
Our goal is to raise significant capital to expand the reach of Hosanna’s Grace, allowing us to provide even more survivors with the specific resources they need, whether that is legal advocacy, career coaching, or emergency financial assistance, while they reside in the safety of Hosanna’s Haven.
